Latest News: Dubai to Muscat Offshore Sailing Race Results:

Congratulation to Switchblade and Simon Reeves for first place IRC and Line Honours in the 2018 Dubai to Muscat Offshore Sailing Race. Switchblade ( a Beneteau First 36.7)  completed the course in a time of 3 days and 5 hours. The final hour involved an exciting tacking dual with Shahrazad, another First 36.7. Both yachts tacked along the Omani coast some 15 times in a close dual towards the finish line at Marina Bandar Al Rowdha.

We hope here to present all the parties involved in sailing & rowing with basic information to participate in their sport within the United Arab Emirates. Including the location of all current government and private clubs and the latest news on Federation events.  We also wish to exchange knowledge, expertise and the laws and regulations related to the sports.

The UAE Sailing & Rowing Federation has been established by H.E. Abdurrahman Bin Mohammed Al-Owais – Minister of Culture, Youth and Community Development – Chairman of General Authority of Youth & Sports Welfare. Decision No (9) dated 21/01/2009. The Federation, chaired by Sheikh Khaled Zayed Saqr Al-Nehayan.
